A keyboard is brilliant for typing and general shortcuts, but it is not always the clearest control surface. Key combinations rely on memory. Labels can be hard to read. A single key may perform a different action in every game or application. A Stream Deck replaces that uncertainty with large, recognisable icons and context-specific commands.

Colour can create a fast visual hierarchy.
