Guitar Tuner by iConCity is designed for use with the CORSAIR XENEON EDGE and a Windows audio interface.
For best results, connect your guitar to an audio interface and select that interface as the input inside the Guitar Tuner widget.
Important: Disable Windows Audio Enhancements
Windows audio enhancements can interfere with the raw guitar signal and may cause unstable or inaccurate pitch detection.
Audio enhancements must be disabled for the input you are using with Guitar Tuner.
In Windows 11:
Open Settings
Go to System → Sound
Under Input, select your audio interface/input device
Open its device properties
Find Audio enhancements and set it to Off
If that option is not shown directly:
Open Settings → System → Sound
Select More sound settings
Open the Recording tab
Select your audio interface/input and choose Properties
Check the Enhancements tab and select Disable all enhancements, or check the Advanced tab and disable Enable audio enhancements
Select OK
Windows may present the setting differently depending on the audio interface and driver. Microsoft also notes that audio enhancements can interfere with microphone/input signals.
Installation
Run:
iConCityGuitarTuner-Setup-v1.0.0.exe
The installer installs the native iConCity audio bridge required by the iCUE widget.
Once installation is complete:
the audio bridge starts automatically
it runs quietly in the background with no normal application window
it starts automatically whenever you sign in to Windows
no manual startup is required during normal use
The background bridge allows the Guitar Tuner widget in iCUE to access your Windows audio input.
Using the Widget
Import/add the Guitar Tuner widget in CORSAIR iCUE and place it on your XENEON EDGE.
Tap START LISTENING, select your audio interface if required, and pluck one guitar string at a time.
The widget supports automatic chromatic tuning as well as guided tunings including Standard, Drop D, DADGAD, Open tunings and more.
If the background bridge is temporarily restarted or unavailable, the widget will automatically attempt to reconnect.
Recommended Setup
For the most reliable tuning:
connect the guitar directly to an audio interface
use a clean input signal without effects, noise suppression or voice processing
disable Windows audio enhancements
avoid clipping the input signal
pluck one string at a time and allow it to ring clearly
Once configured, Guitar Tuner is designed to remain running in the background and be ready whenever you use the XENEON EDGE widget.
